We love snuggling up at home in the winter, but once February rolls around we start to get a little cabin fever. Perfect timing for HarborFrost 2024! We’re gearing up for this annual Fire and Ice Celebration on Saturday February 3rd by stocking up on cider and hot cocoa in our Sag Harbor store. Stop by for a warm treat to toast up your chilly hands as you’re strolling around town during the festival. Here’s a glimpse into the HarborFrost activities…

On opening night, Friday February 2nd, The Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ‘Taste of Sag Harbor’ cocktail party on the 3rd floor of the Sag Harbor Cinema, with tastings from local restaurants and craft cocktails.

On Saturday February 3rd, revel in the Winter Wonderland Market on the wharf, live music, kids activities and special events at businesses throughout the village all day long, plus ice sculpture carving on the wharf between 2:30 and 4pm, fire jugglers at sunset on Windmill Beach, and of course fireworks by Grucci after dark (around 5:15pm). We can’t wait!

OTHER STUFF

If you’ve still got cabin fever after Harbor Fest, we highly recommend checking out the outdoor igloos at Gurneys in Montauk, Baker House 1650 in East Hampton, and The Southampton Ice Rink. They’ve all got mini fireplaces, fairy lights, food and cocktail service and so much cozy ambiance.

If you’re looking for a whole weekend of fun instead of just a few hours, check out the off-season deals at Gurneys that include 24% off rooms for 2024, credits at their saltwater spa, plus free breakfast and a bottle of prosecco upon arrival, yes please!

If you’d rather head west, the newly renovated Canoe Place Inn has stunning rooms, a cozy tavern with inspired cocktails, amazing food and a full-service spa by Sommetbeauty. Just perfect for a weekend away.

No matter how badly the cabin fever hits this winter, there’s something out there on the East End to inspire, rejuvenate, and relax just about anyone. See you out there at HarborFrost!
